Local leaders Great leaders aren’t born, they are made. Over the years we have been privileged to be able to extend our leadership training to local leaders, such as tribal Chiefs in Africa and the Amazon, to local government officials and leadership fraternals in cities. We believe that the laws of God’s kingdom work regardless of whether all the individuals have a relationship with the King. “I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion.” Alexander The Great As followers of Jesus we believe that he reveals the ultimate leadership qualities of servanthood, living out of love and humility as opposed top fear and pride. This kind of leadership grows oneself and others around. He calls us to march under the banner of a lion, one of the terms to describe Jesus’ leadership is the Lion of The Tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5). In Links our aim is to raise up servant leaders, who will confront the status quo. It has been exciting to see how villages and Chiefdoms have been transformed as Chiefs and Head Tribesman have grown in honesty, integrity, stewardship and servanthood. “A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a moulder of consensus.” Martin Luther King In Links we believe that when the leaders change, the whole culture follows!
